Some more targets – for friendly competition!

Hi again!

As life is also about fun with friends, I’ve decided to post some of the targets I use when shooting friendly competitions with my friends.

Each target has the instructions (directions on how I use them), but you’re obviously free to use them they way you want!

This one for example, I call it the shooting eye test. The objective is to shoot it from left to right, one shooter per row, and see how far to the right you can get a clean shot. The catch is, if you nick the black line on the first target, all the ones to the right you can shoot are not valid!

It’s not as easy as it seams because it requires a perfect shot every time!

Next I call it the colour battle. Each friend has a colour and has to shoot the other’s targets before the other shoots his! It’s a speed shooting competition, and I only use break barrel guns, so you can imagine the pressure!

Paper targets

This time I divert a little from the typical restauration post.

I’m sharing my own targets with everyone. These are made by me with airgun target shooting in mind.

Feel free to download and use as many as you please.

After new year I’ll be also posting the physical targets I’ve made (or designed and had made).

To see the complete collection of targets, you can go here (or use the top menu to navigate the targets page)

For now, I leave you with some of my favourites:

This one is quite usefull for scope calibration as it has bigger crosshairs and squares printed under the target. You can shoot and correct in between tagets.

Zero in scope 8 circles 0,5cm

If you want to try different guns or different pellets, or different distances, or all of the above, without changing targets, you can use this one:

Set of 4 rounds, 5 airgun targets 0.5cm gap

Set of 4 rounds, 5 airgun targets 0.5cm gap

Just put 2 or 3 pellets in each target, and move to the next until you’ve completed 5 targets. Make your changes and shoot the line of targets below the one you just shot.

You can also use it to compete with some friends. Each can use one line of targets.

The next one is probably the most traditional one:

Round airgun target 0.5cm gap

Round airgun target 0.5cm gap

All lines are separated by 5mm, and the centre circle is 4,5mm so, the size of a .177 pellet.

If you like this, just go to the paper targets page. There you have these and many more, constantly updating.
